In 2013, experts developed a unified grading system based on international best practices for managing these places. This is known as the Conservation Assured Tiger Standards (CA|TS). CA|TS provides an opportunity for countries and their park managers to show their commitment to create safe havens for wild tigers by matching current management practices to global standards. Habitats are awarded the CA|TS Approved status when they meet all criteria. Since then, CA|TS has grown to become a partnership between governments, institutions, intergovernmental and donor organisations and NGOs. WWF is proud to host the management team that roll-out these processes on-the-ground.
