LIVING WITH TIGERS
With increasing habitat loss and fragmentation, and growing human populations in spaces shared with wildlife, the interface between people and widllife grows, and negative interactions result.

We need to prevent possible conflict incidents from happening, and share the knowledge of managing them.

WWF is rolling out the Human Wildlife Conflict Safe Systems Approach across landscapes. The approach seeks a single, long term goal of making the area safe for people and their assets, and for wildlife and their habitats. It does this by identifying immediate risk areas and removing them. This is a marked shift away from isolated solutions, to system wide integrated solutions that tackle the issue of conflict on all fronts.
