People across the world celebrate Global Tiger Day on 29 July to champion for wild tigers. We are on a mission towards doubling wild tigers by 2022. You can help.

Global Tiger Day was created in 2010 at the St. Petersburg Tiger Summit, Russia when all 13 tiger range countries came together for the first time and decided that business-as-usual approaches were not working. They committed to the most ambitious conservation goal set for a single species - to double the number of wild tigers by 2022.
We saw the political will to save the world’s biggest cat at its highest level and it resulted in Global Tiger Recovery Plan which outlines how each country can contribute to the ambitious goal, known as TX2. We need to keep this momentum going and an updated plan is required.
Tigers will never get this chance again, and neither will mankind. Each year, communities, businesses, and government leaders around the world have celebrated Global Tiger Day on July 29th to champion for tigers in the wild. This year, help us accelerate tiger recovery efforts.
