The Southern Sumatra landscape in Indonesia runs along the southwest coast of this island and is home to an incredible array of biodiversity. The rainforest here is one of the richest and most diverse on the planet, as well as being one of the most threatened due to forest conversion for agriculture. 

Alongside habitat destruction and fragmentation threatening tigers and their prey, snares and poaching pose a serious threat due to market demand for their parts.
